Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 in Stavanger) is a Norwegian music producer and a singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway by her, also gave it some more recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in her attic, and being captivated by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music more as a hobby than as a job. She started writing her own songs. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork for being among her inspirations. She decided to start performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mother suggested that they might help others not gain acclaim for her work, but instead help the people around them understand the importance of their work and how they impact the world. She began playing the piano at age six and making music when she was 9 years old. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family members until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her dream. She claims that she enjoys composing songs. Music to her is the only method to experience anything.
