Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation often. The first time she worked at ESPN at the end of 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been since the age of 9. This skill helped her to get her first work at Univision, Miami. She could work with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. They hired her as a reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate immediately following the interview. She moved in 2009 in Rio Grande Valley, Texas in order to be journalist for The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. The reporter covered stories about the trafficking of drugs and immigrants across the Texas and Mexico border, she served as a reporter for news on KNVO TV 48 Univision, the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 Univision and Fox2 News. She also filled in anchors on sports and weather. Then she anchor and wrote for Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was appointed to more duties. She reported on the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason and finals FC Dallas as well. Additionally, she was the producer of Univision 23's local sports programming Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she served as anchor. The show was promoted to be anchor of sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. The anchor also worked as an anchor on sports for Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins was born in the city of Veracruz, Mexico. Her birth date was November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1985 and was raised in Mexico City. There is an older sister. In 1992, her family relocated from Mexico and relocated to Miami. Her parents divorced soon after and her mother married one of the naval architects named Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. It was on a summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten an employment. At the time of her senior year in high school and yet knowing exactly about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta attended her local University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her goals. It was an amazing campus. They also offered her the college she had always wanted. Following the completion of her high school studies, she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director at WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was an affiliate. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his passion about journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
